Open Call for Artists - 32nd Community Art Exhibition

Applications are open for our 32nd Community Art Exhibition, 26 November - 19 December 2026, at Circular ArtSpace Gallery – East Bristol’s first permanent art gallery, proudly housed in a converted double-decker bus!
This will be our 32nd group exhibition, forming part of a wider programme of 45 curated shows, including solo exhibitions and members’ collectives.
This exhibition and its opening day will mark three years since we opened the gallery. The Meet the Artists event on 26 November is part of a series of events in Fishponds from 25 to 29 November, to mark and celebrate the start of our fourth year of art projects. More details will follow.
We welcome all mediums: paintings, photography, sculptures, installations, illustrations, digital art, ceramics, videos and more.
Submission is FREE
Each selected artist exhibits one work only: up to 110Wx110Hcm for paintings, illustrations, drawings, photography and videos; up to 35Wx80Hx35Dcm for sculptures, installations and ceramics.
- You may submit images of multiple works, but only one will be selected
- 2D works must be framed and corded
- We only accept original artworks (handmade prints, photography and video are exceptions)
- We do not accept AI generated work in any form
- Please include a few images of your work or a link to your website or social media
- Fee if selected: £35 per artist, to contribute to exhibition costs
- No commission on sales: artists keep 100%
Important dates:
- Application deadline: 10 November 2026, 23:59 GMT
- Artwork delivery: 25 November 2026, 12 pm–3 pm (alternatively, works may be posted to arrive by 24 November 2026)
- Meet the Artists event: Thursday, 26 November 2026, 6–8 pm
- Collection: Sunday, 20 December 2026, 12 pm–3 pm
About Circular ArtSpace:
Circular ArtSpace is a not-for-profit organisation based in Bristol, UK, established in March 2022, supporting creativity in East Bristol. Through our gallery in Fishponds, we curate both physical and online exhibitions, as well as artist fairs, with a focus on supporting emerging and underrepresented artists.
Our gallery space welcomes approximately 300 visitors each month. To date, we have provided exhibition opportunities to over 1000 artists in our physical gallery.
