Call for curators
New Curators
A 7‑month training programme for new curators.
Are you interested in how b-side curate and commission artworks and events for the Isle of Portland? Do you want to try and test it out yourself?
Between March and October 2020, b-side will train, mentor and support 5 emerging curators under the age of 30 from Dorset to learn more about curation within a site-responsive context. The new curators will work with the b-side team and other specialists in the field to develop and deliver an event or artwork for b-side festival 2020.
Participants will receive a bursary of £600 towards travel and time spent on the programme plus a 'go and see' budget to experience new work in this field. A group budget to curate an event/artwork for b-side festival alongside ongoing support from the b-side team.
