Micro Commissions 2026

This year, we are looking for artists in Somerset to produce new work responding to the 2026 Somerset Art Weeks Festival theme ‘Cultural Connections’.

We want to experience inspiring journeys that reveal new perspectives on our shared Somerset identity and celebrate the unique cultural richness that defines our county.

This opportunity supports artists to consider how they connect with
audiences, find new approaches and challenges, explore the boundaries of
their own talent and to contribute to their artistic development - with up to £2,000 available to cover fees and production costs.
