As part of our online professional development programme, we are delighted to offer five places on The Kaleidoscope Network’s upcoming workshop Financial Recording, Tax & Self-Assessment.

This is an excellent opportunity for artists, makers, and creatives to learn or be refreshed on the necessary skills to manage being self-employed, as well as understanding any upcoming changes to the system. Neisa will share a presentation, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To book your place, please email lucy@vasw.org.uk.

Neisa Reid is an independent ICB bookkeeper with over 20 years’ experience of providing a range of accounting services for freelancers, start-ups, small to medium businesses, and not for profit organisations, including Eastside Projects (Birmingham).

The Kaleidoscope Network is a collaboration between Eastside Projects, Primary, Spike Island and The NewBridge Project. Formed in response to a need for mutual support, the network shares resources to increase what each partner is able to offer and create new connections between communities of artists.

As a member of Spike Associates, you automatically become part of the Kaleidoscope Network and can attend online events programmed by each partner. Membership also includes one to one meetings, reading and discussion groups, skills workshops, crits, talks and study days and away days. Access to this workshop is supported through WEVAA, a three year programme that includes professional development, commissioning, and support and resources. Find out more here https://vasw.org.uk/wevaa.
