Join the b-side Board
b‑side is inviting applications for Non-Executive Directors to join our friendly and dynamic Board
If you believe in the potential of contemporary art to champion diverse communities, then we would love to hear from you.
We welcome applications from people living and working on Portland, and elsewhere. We are looking for inclusive and thoughtful individuals who understand our mission and will support us to continue to build a social, environmental, and financially resilient arts organisation. We welcome applications from inside and outside of the cultural sector, you do not have to have worked for an organisation like b-side before or have previously volunteered as a Non-Executive Director.
We believe our work will be stronger with greater board diversity and actively welcome applications from those who bring balance to our current Board of Directors.
We can provide a budget for travel to board meetings and for any access requirements. For example, support workers, BSL interpreters, and the production of governance papers in a variety of formats. We can also provide training for any aspect of the role.
