HEAD OF PROGRAMME STRATEGY
Working with the Director and the Gallery’s Arts Council Collection Programme Team to consolidate our learning from the three-year programme.
The Head of Programme Strategy will be a critical friend to the team to ensure the current and post-programme strategy reflects our ambitions for quality, profile and legacy.
Your principle task will be to lead on developing a deliverable exit strategy to ensure the gallery retains capacity and resources to implement key learning and enhance public delivery over the next decade. This is a senior strategic planning role, rather than a curatorial one.
It is an extremely exciting time to join the gallery, during a period when our national profile is increasing and the quality and integrity of our work is being recognised.
This position is open to people who may not have previously worked in an arts programming context, but who might bring experience of strategy development and team leadership from another sector.
We fully recognise the stark lack of diversity across the visual arts sector and therefore strongly encourage applications from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds and disabled people.
