The position of Gallery Trainee is an exciting new role at Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset – a companion gallery to Hauser & Wirth Somerset. Make opened on Bruton high street in 2018, and is a gallery dedicated to contemporary craft practice and making, showcasing work from the best emerging and established artist-makers in the UK and internationally. The exhibition programme includes talks, workshops, residencies and events.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active, organized and personable individual who is in the early stages of their career in the craft or art world to join the hugely successful Make
team. The gallery has become a destination for craft with its unique, narrative driven exhibition program and the candidate would be joining at a significant moment as we look to expand our reach and develop new initiatives in Somerset and beyond.
