This position requires great attention to
detail, good organisational skills, discretion and an understanding of the gallery
world. You will be well presented and personable.

Main Tasks
Duties include but are not limited to:
 Assisting the Directors with day-to-day matters including diary management,
travel, organising meetings and filing systems
 Processing invoices and updating excel records
 Management of artwork records and gallery’s stock
 Organising the packing and transportation of artworks
 Assisting with organising artist agendas and arranging hospitality
 Assisting with organising events
 Supporting marketing and social media projects
 Representing the gallery and greeting visitors and clients
 Responding to general enquiries
 Ensuring that the gallery spaces are presented to the highest standards at all
times
 Liaising with local organisations and the community

Requirements
• A minimum of two year’s experience in a relevant role, preferably the creative
industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent communication, written and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions • Ability and confidence
to take initiative
• Knowledge of and passion for modern and contemporary art
• Computer proficiency (experienced using CS Suite and Microsoft Office)
• Professionalism, discretion and a friendly demeanour are essential

This is a part time freelance position (Wednesday – Saturday with some flexibility)
which could lead to a permanent position.
