Freelance Under 18s Craft Tutors
New Brewery Arts is seeking enthusiastic, creative Craft Tutors to deliver engaging craft sessions for children and young people under the age of 18.
We’re looking for dynamic tutors with experience in working with children and young people to lead high-quality, fun, and inclusive craft-based sessions. You’ll have the freedom to bring your own creative approach, helping participants to explore materials, learn new skills, and express themselves through making.
Successful applicants will become a part of the dedicated under 18s pool of freelancers, and will be given the opportunity to sign up to deliver sessions in the craft of their choice, on dates which work for them.
While travel expenses are not covered, we will cover the cost of materials used in the session by prior agreement.
Key Details:
- Freelance position
- £30 per hour
- Sessions typically take place on Saturdays during term time, and on weekdays during holiday periods
- Based at New Brewery Arts, Cirencester
What We’re Looking For:
- A creative practitioner with a strong background in craft (e.g. textiles, ceramics, printmaking, etc.)
- Experience delivering workshops to children and young people
- An engaging, patient, and adaptable teaching style
- Ability to plan and deliver sessions independently
- A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Public liability insurance as a freelance practitioner
