Part of VASW's ‘How Can I Stay? (I don't want to not want to stay)’ programme.

A one-day event of panel discussions and breakout activities exploring the realities of working as a creative practitioner in rural places. Lead by artists from different career stages, creative producers, and community organisers, we will share what challenges we face as rural creative practitioners and discuss innovative ways of working that result from our rurality (whether intentional or unintentional!). Whether you are still a student or an experienced arts professional, this event is an opportunity for you to hear others’ perspectives and share your own.

Taking place in Bodmin (where Flamm will happen in October 2025) the ‘Remote Working’ event will conclude with some drinks for artists to meet creatives from other disciplines as well as some cultural and community organisers in Bodmin.

Key information:
- There are 35 places available allocated on a first-come-first-served basis
- It is free to attend but participants will need to manage and cover the costs of their own travel.
