Exhibitions Co-ordinator (Maternity Leave Cover)
The Exhibitions Co-ordinator will report to and work closely with, the Head of Exhibitions to ensure the smooth running of the exhibition programme.

Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year Monday 17 of November 2025 to Friday 20 November 2026 (Maternity Leave Cover).
Hours: 4 days / 30 hours per week.
Salary: £25,350 pro rata, actual salary £20,280
Annual leave: 28 days paid holiday pro rata in each holiday year, plus public holidays.

About the role
Our small RWA Exhibitions team is responsible for the delivery of the RWA’s dynamic programme of temporary exhibitions, accompanying catalogues and related events.
We also have responsibility for the care and display of the gallery’s permanent collection. Each year we deliver 3 headline ticketed exhibitions of historical and contemporary art and architecture, including our hugely popular and longstanding Annual Open Exhibition which showcases around 600 works selected from over 4,000 submissions. In addition, we stage around twelve smaller free displays in collaboration with external curators and artists. We share a passion for high quality exhibitions that are inclusive and engaging for all visitors.
The Exhibitions Co-ordinator will report to and work closely with, the Head of Exhibitions to ensure the smooth running of the exhibition programme. They will provide essential project assistance and production support. They will lead on the management of the RWA Annual Open exhibition, setting up and managing our online submission process, and co-ordinating the selection and install processes.
There is plenty of opportunity to gain varied experience of all aspects of exhibition development, production, and project management.
