Exhibition/commission at The Plough

The Plough Arts Centre would like to offer an artist or collective a show in the main gallery running from July 15 to August 19. We would also like to offer a micro commission to the selected artist/s to undertake 2 open ended walks beside water. We are particularly interested in being able to assist the development of emerging artists. Total fee £750. The deadline for applications is Friday March 17. This is part of an ongoing programme of waterwalks. The arts organisations across North Devon and Torridge lie – naturally enough – close by water. You can, for the most part, walk from place to place along the water’s edge; from The Plough in Great Torrington through Bideford, Barnstaple and Braunton up to Ilfracombe. A large proportion of the pathways run along the Tarka Trail which means that bikes and wheelchairs can also use them. The walks would be between two or more venues. Please send a link to your website and a short proposal. The exhibition does not have to link directly to the walks.
