Everyone Different Everyone Equal Tavistock

We are looking for 4 artists from diverse backgrounds to each run a half day workshop at Tavistock Youth Café on the theme “Everyone Different Everyone Equal” during August. This is part of the preparations for the Respect Fest multicultural event in September.

With young people we particularly want to challenge stereotypes and encourage an understanding that diversity enriches our culture and lives: whether this is race, religion, birth country, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, etc.

Each person selected will be paid £150 for a 3 hour session, including travel and materials.

To apply, please tell us how you would run a 3 hour session on this theme – it’s focus, media, style, equipment needed plus an example of recent art work. Please also tell us a little about your background as we want to select 4 people that are as different in background and media as possible.
