Dialogues critical exchange programme: Call for applications
Dialogues is a 4‑month programme of critical exchange, weekend retreat, group workshops and one-to-one mentoring with Mark Devereux Projects.
Practicing as an artist can often be a solitary experience – making work, developing ideas and not always knowing whether it is communicating what you aim for. Critique and conversations can be essential in the development of your practice. Dialogues will focus on nurturing your core ideas and ambitions, helping manifest these within the making of your work.
Dialogues is aimed towards artists that may be developing a new body of work, building a new project or working towards a future exhibition or commission. Starting in March 2024, each artist will benefit from a weekend retreat at Paradise Works (Salford), three group crits, two 1-hour one-to-one mentoring sessions and three group workshops. Experienced curator and mentor Mark Devereux will lead each session; offering tailored and critically engaged developmental support.
