Job
Designer: West Waterlooville
We’re embarking on a new public art initiative in West Waterlooville and are seeking creative, experienced freelancers to collaborate with us.
We would like the appointed designer to transform the words and stories
from community workshops into temporary physical interventions in West Waterlooville.
This could take the form of:
• printed posters
• distributed newsletters or zines
• vinyl or painted lettering on buildings/building hoardings
• pavement stencils
or other low-cost and environmentally conscious interventions.
Creating an accessible and engaging visual identity for the programme is
key and we want residents to feel pride at seeing their words shared
publicly. The designs should respond to and be inspired by the local
area.
We’ll be hosting an info session on 30 October at 10:00 AM via Zoom to answer any questions about the role.
