Open Call: Creative Intersection Day 2026

We are inviting artists, printmakers, designers, technologists, and experimental creatives to take part in Creative Intersection Day 2026—a one-day event exploring the space where analogue and digital practices meet.

This event brings together practitioners working across:

Printmaking and traditional processes

Projection mapping and immersive media

Film, 360 and VR

3D printing and digital fabrication

Sound and audio experimentation

Obsolete/repurposed technologies

Emerging materials (e.g. conductive inks, hybrid processes)

We’re particularly interested in unexpected intersections, inventive use of materials or tools, and practices that challenge conventional definitions of making.

What we’re offering

Selected participants will receive:

A dedicated space/stand within the event

Opportunity to demonstrate your process live

Option to deliver a short talk or informal presentation

Platform to showcase work, test ideas, and connect with others

This is not a commercial fair—it is a shared, exploratory environment where creatives contribute to and shape the day.

Who should apply

We welcome:

Established and emerging practitioners

Independent artists, collectives, researchers, technologists

Those working inside or outside traditional categories

If your work sits between disciplines, experiments with process, or rethinks tools—we want to hear from you.

We are especially keen to highlight practices from South West England, while remaining open to participants from across the UK and beyond.

Deadline to apply: Friday 31st July
