Creative Youth Network is a Bristol and South Gloucestershire based organisation with a vision that every young person has the ability to enter adulthood able to reach their own potential irrespective of their circumstance or background. We create cultural environments and space for all young people to feel safe, represented and heard through creativity and youth work. Creative Youth Network puts young people’s voice at the heart of its delivery, ensuring that it’s work is authentically youth led.
We know that cultural diversity in the arts provides rich engagement and expression for all communities, yet many feel under-represented. Therefore, Creative Youth Network is redeveloping the derelict Old Magistrates Court building in central Bristol and turning it into a creative enterprise hub for young people to see, meet and make new work, whilst having access to creative and cultural organisations who are based there as tenants providing support for early career creative professionals from diverse backgrounds.
To ensure that young people and community groups are included in the redevelopment stage, including the design, build and launch of the building, Creative Youth Network is recruiting a Youth and Community Inclusion Officer For The Courts.
Based in Bristol, the post is flexible around working patterns and can be for someone who’s interested in a hybrid of working from home and in the office.
Creative Youth Network is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds.
