Redwing Gallery is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Café, Gallery & Events Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our gallery and café, and to plan and deliver an engaging programme of exhibitions and events. This is a hands-on role at the heart of Redwing’s work, combining creative programming with venue management and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate exhibitions, liaising with artists, curators, and volunteers.
  • Organise a varied programme of community events, workshops, talks, and partner group meetings.
  • Manage daily café and gallery operations, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Oversee gallery bookings, calendar, and basic facilities management.
  • Work with the Directors to promote activities via social media and local networks.
  • Support income generation from café, gallery shop, and events.

Person Specification

  • Experience managing arts, cultural, or community projects/events.
  • Excellent organisational and people skills.
  • A passion for arts, social inclusion, and working with diverse communities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a public-facing environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to working in a small team.
