Ginkgo Projects is seeking a Bristol or South West-based creative practitioner for an 8-month-long artist residency called “A River’s Path”.
The residency is part of the new Futureweave site-wide public art strategy for Bedminster Green. The vision, and creative approach to the strategy were co-developed with a “Hive” group of residents and city-based individuals with knowledge of Bedminster, to test, inform, and co-create a framework for five artist residencies across five redevelopment plots in the area.
”A River’s Path” Artist’s Residency will involve researching, designing and delivering a creative response to the evolving natural green and blue aspects of this area, as well as its historical and social context. The commissioned artist will develop an innovative and distinctive approach that reveals, inspires, and sparks curiosity in nature.
