‘a space’ arts are looking to commission a new text based artwork that will be printed on a banner overlooking the railway line.
‘a space’ arts are looking to commission a new text based artwork that will be printed on a banner at the back of The Alfred Arcade on Old Northam Road, overlooking the railway.
This commission follows on from the success of a similar commission last year by artist Jo Carson. The work, Your Existence is Everything, faced onto the mainline railway between Southampton and London and was potentially seen by thousands of passengers a day.
A £200 fee is being offered to the successful artist. The deadline for applications Tuesday 7th April.
