Call for final supporting entries for Artizan Gallery’s annual Sculpture Studio!
Artizan Gallery’s annual Sculpture Studio is returning, a longstanding fixture of Devon Open Studios, this year it coincides with the event as we host Venue TB8 with artist Olya Baklan and a supporting exhibition brought to us by Devon Wildlife Trust and photographer Robert Darch.
Each year, the Sculpture Studio celebrates talented 3D makers with a diverse showcase that invites makers at the top of their fields to exhibit in Artizan’s main gallery. The exhibition normally features around 6 practitioners with a mixture of plinth, floor and wall display 3D works, and has in the past showcased contemporary ceramics, figurative bronze, stone carving, metal working, assemblage and much, much more.
We are currently looking for approximately 3 additional artists to support our current participants including bronze artist Elisabeth Hadley, and assemblage artist Anthony Barclay, who will feature alongside a number of contemporary ceramicists.
Interested participants should fill out the simple submission form by Midday August 22nd, which will ask you to provide your contact details and a supporting link to view your current work. You can also optionally provide a supporting statement and email images to imagesubmissions@artizangallery.co.uk
There will be a £50 fee for successful applicants, and 35% commission is taken on sales.
