Myself and artist Emily Unsworth White are organising a group art exhibition for next year's International Women's Day called ‘Buried Moons’. This exhibition will be held at Centrespace from the 23rd of February to the 9th of March.

This multi-disciplinary exhibition celebrates international women's day through the lesser known figures of folklore. The forgotton tales of magnificent FINT (female, intersex, non-binary and transgender) individuals retold from folklore around the world. This is an open call artist event which will represent a diverse group of FINT artists.

We will invite artists and external collaborators to hold workshops, skillshares and/or talks throughout the 2 weeks, creating a rich program of free public events alongside the exhibition.

We have applied for funding and sincerely hope that all contributing artists will receive up to £500 to contribute, as well as support for sustainable materials. Workshop leads will receive £150 each.

Deadline for the open call for artists is December 5th.
