Artist Opportunity - Unity Place, Swindon
Ginkgo Projects is seeking an artist to commission on behalf of Zurich Insurance to research and create new work for their new headquarters in Swindon. The work will be developed through a process of research and collaboration, including engagement with Zurich staff and communities in Swindon and linking in to associated bursaries for local artists. Permanent work will be located within the open space being created at the front of the new building and we welcome applications from artists with interest in:
• sustainable environment and material development
• design of positive spaces – creating spaces for diverse communities and mental wellbeing
• developing conversations with communities and partners – looking at innovative ways of engaging with others throughout the commissioning process.
We are interested in seeing new and innovative responses to these themes and to hearing about how you see them manifesting within this commission. There is a budget of £75,600 inclusive of fees for delivery.
