Helen Cammock is announced as a selector for New Contemporaries 2023
VASW co-chair Helen Cammock has been announced as a selector for New Contemporaries 2023, alongside Sunil Gupta and Heather Phillipson.
Since 1949, New Contemporaries have consistently supported contemporary visual artists to successfully transition from education into professional practice, primarily by means of an annual, nationally touring exhibition. A panel comprising influential art world figures including curators, writers, and artists select participants for the annual touring exhibition.
Submissions for the 2023 programme are welcomed from emerging and early career artists who are final year students, recent graduates and postgraduate students from UK art schools and alternative learning programmes.
