Artist-led
South Hams Arts Forum
The South Hams Arts Forum is an active, inclusive collective of over 100 artists and crafts people from across the South Hams
The South Hams Arts Forum was created over 20 years ago as an inclusive art group offering opportunities for artists to network, collaborate and sell artwork. With over 100 artists and crafts people from across the South Hams, the membership has grown steadily since its foundation in 2000. SHAF mounts an annual Arts Trail during the second half of October, which extends across the region, as well as two major exhibitions at Harbour House Gallery, Kingsbridge: Contemporary Passions in the summer, and Present Maker in early December.
The Arts Trail and SHAF's summer and winter exhibitions are well-established and receive excellent reviews. They attract visitors from all parts of the country and from overseas. All artist-members of SHAF are encouraged to showcase their work in SHAF exhibitions and events.
SHAF members participate in branded event to showcase work representing the organisation and to promote the art group to new membership.
