Commissioning organisation focussing on place-making and working with artists in the public realm.
Field Art Projects was set up in 1999 by Theresa Bergne, a curator and producer based in Bristol specialising in place-making and commissioning artists to work in the public realm. Projects include Janet Cardiff’s 40 Part Motet, and the public art programme for the Barts Breast Care Centre in London. Recent Bristol projects include a series of commissions as part of the Bristol Beacon transformation project, the public art programme Future Perfect, and WAMA, a multi-disciplinary art project for Sovereign Housing in Barton Hill.
