Artist-led, Project Space
Little Forest Land Art
Transforming a 3 acre meadow and surrounding woodland into an immersive, relaxing environment to display the works of local & national artists.
LFLA was started in early 2017 by ceramicist Jan Griffiths and artist Adrian Mundy on land surrounding Jan’s studio in the Hampshire countryside, north of Fareham. With our growing team of helpers we work directly in the landscape, keeping the site under control and creating spaces to display artworks.
Having initially focused on the 3 acre wild meadow, we have now created a Woodland Art Trail in the woods immediately surrounding it.
The main public opening of LFLA is during Art in the Garden, an annual 'open studio' event taking place in early summer, showing Jan’s ceramics and the work of other invited artists and makers. It also features the winner of our annual Open Competition to find a work to go on our 4th Plinth.
