37 Looe Street

37 Looe Street is the physical manifestation of the work of Bureau for the Contemporary and Historic (ButCH). It is an arts lab and clubhouse for visual art, moving image, performance, publication and social encounters. It’s a residency, test and gallery space where art is free for everyone to access. By subtly disrupting artistic establishments, we create a home for artists on non-linear paths, navigating middle spaces in life and career. Doing as much as possible via alternative economies we are a queer collective that operates outside the norm, with both seriousness and humour.
