Founded in 1954 by furniture designer and manufacturer Crofton Gane, the Gane Trust supports people in the arts, craft, design, welfare, and social care. We offer grants and fund travel award schemes for students in higher education.
In an ongoing commitment to furthering Crofton Gane’s social vision the ambition of the Gane Trust is to invest in people to develop their creative talent, foster innovation and improve the quality of life of people requiring social care, enabling them to progress in their aspirations. We’re based in Bristol and focus on supporting people in the South West of England including Bath, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.
