Rural artist residency programme. Residential. Self-funding.
Aplpip Arts is an artist residency programme in North Dorset close to the Somerset and Wiltshire borders directed by Arabee Beveridge.
Here we offer you the chance to further your practice in our barns, studio and fields.
You are invited to stay for up to four weeks, during which time you will pursue your own practice. We eat together three times a week and one day every week we will work together on a joint Aplpip focused project. We share our studio spaces, conversation and skills. Through the fostering of mutual responsibility, experimentation, exchange, dialogue and collaboration we hope to expand the notion of practice as an all encompassing part of life.
Applications from anyone with an artistic or writing practice are welcome, and we are an inclusive space for all people, but the site we occupy makes it difficult for wheelchair users to stay here currently.
