Andelli Art
The Andelli Art gallery showcases a diverse mix of Modern British, 20th Century, European and contemporary art.
Andelli Art is based on the outskirts of Wells, Somerset. Run by Ellie Jones, the gallery is situated within her home – a Victorian former hospital where she lives with her family.
Ellie has built up an art collection over the last 25 years which appeals to her directly. "The collecting gene is something I inherited from my Grandmother. She worked for the Burrell Collection in Glasgow, and had a deep knowledge and discerning eye."
Originally from Bristol, Ellie worked for over 20 years as a graphic designer for some of London’s leading agencies and the beauty industry, before moving to Wells in 2013. "The move enabled us to develop Andelli Art, which was initially set up as an online gallery. The idea for setting up a gallery within my home is to offer an intimate and informal setting to look at and buy art. It also enables buyers to visualise easily how a work will look in a home environment.”
