TAAG CIO - Art Gallery & Community Centre
TAAG is a charity-operated Gallery and Arts & Well-being Hub which is used by over 30 local organisations for the benefit of the community
TAAG reopened on 29th July 2023 after being purchased for, and with the assistance of, the local community. Following refurbishment, the ground floor is now a modern and flexible gallery & workshop space which hosts weekly exhibitions, workshops and other events.

TAAG was originally formed to improve communication between artists and art organisations, and to facilitate arts in the Teignmouth area. Over a period of ten years it has developed into a community hub and has attracted other arts-related businesses to the area, which is now designated as Teignmouth's Arts Quarter.
Our Arts and Community Centre is used by over 30 organisations for activities which include: arts & craft workshops, Teignvironment, carers’ workshops, workshops, multicultural festivals, Devon Open Studios, TRAIL recycled art, language classes, book clubs, crafts and more. Our two galleries host weekly exhibitions by amateur and professional artists.
The roof of the TAAG building was replaced in 2023-24 and we hope to carry out final work to construct a large workshop and artist studios on the upper floors from 2025, subject to securing grant assistance.
