AHSW Anconf Square 2021

What Next for Sustainable Practice?

At this online event we will be exploring different dimensions of sustainability in relation to arts and health practice.

Sustainability is a big word – at this online event we will be exploring different dimensions of sustainability in relation to arts and health practice, including planet health and human health, models for spread and capacity building, and the funding and policy context.

We will build on the content from June’s Culture Health & Wellbeing International Conference (CHW21) and will be sending annual conference delegates links to some previously recorded CHW21 sessions to inform conference conversations.

We are currently putting together the programme – please check back soon for updates.

We are inviting people to give 5-minute provocations on the conference theme of sustainability/sustainable arts and health practice. Provocations are short, provocative presentations that are spoken, without any slides or accompanying images etc. They should be a way for you to share your thoughts on the theme, rather than used for showcasing or promoting your work. If you are interested, and would like to have a soap box moment, email Hannah at info@ahsw.org.uk with the subject line ‘Annual Conference Provocation’ with your proposal. We may limit the number of provocations we can present if we receive a lot of applications – if so, we’ll close submissions and update the guidance on this page.

£20 for those who require a concession
£30 for individuals (sole traders / artists / practitioners)
£40 for those who are part of a larger organisation
