45 years ago Linda Nochlin wrote in Art News the essay "Why have there Been No Great Women Artists?" and then ten years later Rosika Parker and Griselda Pollock wrote the groundbreaking book Old Mistresses - Women, Art Ideology challenging a women-free Art History. From Eve to Emin this two hour seminar with Melanie Rose will explore misogynistic power structures, misbehaving and money in the art world.
