Photographers Tricia Scott and Lois Wakeman share an uncannily similar view of the world. Both look for abstract images in the everyday - things that others would walk past unseeing. Living by the coast, seaside subjects naturally suggest themselves.  For this exhibition, they have chosen a series of photographs of boat hulls: abraded, peeling and chipped paint from just above or below the waterline. The viewer is invited to admire the surprising patterns they have brought to light, and imagine the scenes that are suggested by random brushstrokes, sanding and corrosion.
