Across two venues/locations this experiential learning opportunity is for artists, educators and community organisations.

It is being hosted by CAS Artist Laurence Rushby who has re-imagined professional development through her emerging Truth-Dare-Art methodology. This is the second event that puts Truth-Dare-Art in action for mutual learning.

Join her to be immersed in playful, on-the-spot local investigations, to test daring-actions and create connections to tackle the issues you care about.

The forum aims to build relationships and create a bridge between artists, education and community settings, building trust, understanding, and connection. The event will culminate in a publication/report drawing on our accumulated knowledge so you will be able to use to continue the conversation in your workplace and local communities.

Day 1; John Hansard Gallery Education Room, SOUTHAMPTON

Day one will be based in the amazing John Hansard Gallery, in the heart of Southampton new cultural quarter, and will include presentations of artists’ practices, talks (speakers to be announced) and an interactive encounter with the exhibited work. A delicious lunch will be provided on site. The day will end with an opportunity to further spend time to chat, breathe and eat well.

Day 2; Andover Radio Station, Portland House, ANDOVER, SP10 1LP

Andover Radio Station places us in the heart of a non-profit community organisation. The day will include practical, creative testing of ideas and a visit to CAS for active participation in the art of award-winning CAS Resident Artist Jade Montserrat.
