As part of TOPOS, an ongoing project by award-winning artist Volkhardt Müller to make and showcase a series of brand new works in response to Exeter and its populace, the TS Eliot-nominated poet Sean Borodale will be artist-in-residence for a period of 5 days.
Over the course of the week, Sean and Volkhardt will enter a dialogue to produce a series of pamphlets in response to the city. The work will involve the staging of theatrical moments in the TOPOS space with the potential for interactions with spectators and/or participants both on and offsite.
Sean’s residency and the material produced will feed into the ongoing process of discovery that TOPOS represents, and the space will be open during the afternoons on a drop-in basis, with performances likely in the early evenings – full details will be listed on the TOPOS website soon. Please feel free to attend for as little or as long as you want.
