This experiential course takes the city of Bristol as its starting point to explore a variety of 'primitive print' techniques including; carved rubber stamps' root vegetable printmaking (such as yams and potatoes), clay block printing (making reliefs by taking clay impressions of objects and surfaces), plaster printng (from hand engraved blocks of plaster) and found objects printing.
