A three hour poetry workshop comprising some classroom based writing activities, a gentle, short guided walk around four interesting Trowbridge sites, time for note-taking, photographing, gathering materials for poems, re-grouping at base for discussion of ideas and informal sharing of first draft poems.

We will look at ways of incorporating place into poems and might consider history, objects, artefacts, folklore, politics and urbanization, among other things!  Bring a notebook and fill it with ideas for poems.
