In this two day workshop suitable for those with some felting experience, students will experiment  with a variety of wools to create sculptural pieces; these can be functional or non functional such as hats, containers or bags.  Students will learn how to create three dimensional resists and also how to use resists to create surface texture.

Depending on the complexity and size of the chosen forms, students should make at least two completed pieces.

Tutor: Mandy Nash

Why not make your workshop into a short break and book into our new guest accommodation The Barrel Store. Call us for your special residential workshop rate.

Our specialist education studios provide a space for courses, workshops and parties at New Brewery Arts. We work with great tutors, each a professional maker in their own right, to lead our classes. Groups are small so you receive individual attention and you can work at your own pace. Lunch is included on full-day workshops for adults unless stated otherwise and tea and coffee is available in the studio at all times.
