This workshop introduces the method of hand building and creating shapes with the use of a simple former. Once the basic structure has been created the surface of the clay can be carved into and coil additions added. The day will introduce you to a variety of techniques whilst giving the opportunity to explore individual creative ideas.

This workshop is ideal for a beginner with no previous experience however those who are more familiar with clay will also enjoy exploring a variety of decorative methods and ideas. Bring pictures and ideas along to inspire you, the day promises to be packed with information. Teaching will be through demonstration and a step by step guide and will be adapted to each individual’s requirements.

Come along and create your own amazing ceramic pot.
