To coincide with the intriguing contemporary art exhibition 'Sea Garden' which includes Dartmoor-based photographer Susan Derges' recent rock pool series, this participative talk and workshop will inspire your own creative writing.

Artist Susan Derges will discuss her practice as one of the UK’s best-known photographers. Poet, Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter & previously a Leverhulme Artist in Residence in a Marine Biology Department, Dr John Wedgwood Clarke and Professor Mike Allen a seaweed expert at the University of Exeter and Plymouth Marine Laboratory will discuss their knowledge of marine algae in art and science.

The afternoon includes talks, conversation, creative writing and a chance to see ‘Sea Garden’.
