An exhibition by Simon Hood in collaboration with Spike Island volunteers, presenting a body of work focusing on the metamorphosis of studio 108.2 at Spike Island into the independent country The Democratic Republic of Free People(s). Hood founded the country and became its democratic leader following a year-long coma from which he emerged with an interest in freedom and democracy.

Simon Hood used to practice as a Ritual Magician but has renounced that to run his own country, The Democratic Republic of Free People(s) within his studio at Spike Island.
