Art on the Hill is an annual event in our compact residential community in South Bristol.  Spread over two days it offers a wide range of visual arts, performances and participatory workshops.

The 70 artists, working in many media, exhibit their stunning work in theirown homes and in public venues. Most artists are present in their venue throughout the trail. We love to discuss our work with visitors and there is work on sale for very reasonable prices.

Drop in to hear music, dance and performance poetry in The Community Centre during both days and on Saturday evening there is a free "Nearly Unplugged" concert. Check display boards there for who's performing. Other venues may have performance events over the weekend.

We have an entertaining programme of participatory art, music and drama workshops, both for adults and children. Just turn up on the day and have fun taking part.

The Community Centre will have cold snacks and beverages both days and hot food with a bar on Saturday evening. Both local pubs sell hot food and some other venues sell home-made cakes, snacks and beverages.

We invite you to wander round at your own pace. The 40 venues are walkable for most people though there are steep hills. If you have limited mobility, some venues are close together or host multiple artists and many are wheelchair accessible.

If possible, please leave the limited local parking for residents and blue badge holders. There is parking in nearby streets and car parks. Trains stop at Bedminster Station (limited service Sunday). Buses 75,76 and 90 stop nearby on both days.

Our website has full details. Our brochure booklet - itself a work of art - will be available before and during the weekend.
