River Tamar Project

The River Tamar Project is concerned with exploring a new and sustainable human purpose for the River Tamar. Through an ambitious programme of contemporary art commissions and international events, the River Tamar Project will explore and reflect upon the context of the river. The programme will support our belief that art has the potential to change the way in which we interact with the world around us. By creating this hive of activity, stimulating social, cultural and economic development focused on the Tamar, our aim is to allow people to celebrate and re-connect with their maritime and industrial heritage.
