Periscope

Periscope is a partnership between artists and educators Alison Cockcroft and Emily Joy. Periscope create and run immersive, participatory, creative spaces for the public of all ages that encourage and enable access to visual art based activities and are based around a character and theme. The event spaces are filled with interesting and unusual objects, equipment and materials that gently invite participants to draw, make, write, dream and collaborate whilst removing the traditional hierachies that surround art and education. All events are free and run on a drop-in basis. Periscope work with museums, galleries and other organisations.
