Volunteers needed to support Emmaus Bristol

Hours 3 hours between 9am - 8pm

Voluenteers needed to support an art event in aid of Emmaus Bristol, working to end homelessness.

A day of drop-in activities and upcycling workshops with local artists, getting creative with second-hand materials.

 

Date: Sunday 24 September

Location: The Island, Bristol

Time commitment: a minimum of 3 hours, between 9am (to help set up) and 8pm. (event is open to the public 11am – 7pm).

 

What we need:

Enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in creativity, upcycling and supporting a charity

working to end homelessness. Experience in a craft activity is beneficial but not essential as

training will be given.

Tasks:

- Supervising craft activities for members of the general public

- Handing out flyers

- Preparing refreshments

- Helping set up the space and clear away at the end of the day

- Supporting visitors and answering questions
