Edge Arts, the University of Bath’s unit offering programmes for both public and campus engagement, are seeking a highly organised and confident individual with proven experience in exhibition co-ordination and delivery for the role of Exhibitions Manager.
The centre’s year-round programme of exhibitions, performing arts presentations, talks, arts classes, family and community events, provide experiences of educational, emotional and intellectual stimulus, all based around an ethos of bringing together arts, research and adventure.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working to the instruction of The Director of Arts and occasional guest curators, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of exhibition delivery to deadline and on budget. The Exhibition Manager will maintain oversight of all production elements of the exhibitions programme in the Andrew Brownsword Galleries at University venue The Edge and as suitable elsewhere, including artist and partner liaison, design implementation, transportation, artwork handling, launch previews and team co-ordination, working closely with Edge Arts colleagues, including the Technical Manager (Visual Arts) to ensure the highest technical standards.
You will co-ordinate relations with many stakeholders (internal and external) including artists, international and UK organisations, gallerists, curators and designers.
