Deadline Sunday 31 March 2019

Interview Date TBC

Chapel Arts Studios, formed in 2009, have this year become a National Portfolio Organisation with Arts Council England. Based in our headquarters in Andover, over the next four years we aim to widen our ability to support artists, build an ambitious residency programme at the current chapel studio and expand into new buildings to provide more studios, education facilities and gallery space.

We are now looking to develop the diversity and capacity of our board in this exciting and ambitious time, and are ready to recruit a proactive member with some considerable financial experience.

We currently have 5 members in our CAS board, all bringing skills and relevant experiences to our plans.

We have a financial officer who leads in the provision of financial viability, payments and procedures.

The role of the new trustee will be to liaise and mediate between the finance officer and the board, lending their valuable experience and insight to the smooth running of the organisation.

  • Experience in VAT and finance
  • Understanding of charity regulations and governance

  • Experience of fundraising

The board meets 4 time a year, every three months.
The role is not remunerated.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding arts organisation. You will be able to help direct its development and share in the events and excitement as it progresses.
