Thu 3  – Life Drawing Class | 6.30-8.30pm | £10 per session | Mixed group which includes students and the general public. Beginners welcome (Tutored).  Takes place weekly.  Fee includes materials. Booking necessary.

Thu 3  – Thursday Night Art Group (Adults) | 6.30-8.30pm | £10 per session | Explores different mediums and/or different subject over a number of weeks, allowing you time to develop your work.  Suitable for all levels of ability.  Takes place weekly. Fee includes materials.  Booking necessary.

Sat 5 – Kids Craft Workshop | 10am-12pm | £7 per child (under 7’s must be accompanied by an adult) | Popular workshop that takes place every first Saturday of the month. Each session has a different theme, this month: Clay Masks.  Fee includes light refreshments and all materials.  No advanced booking necessary.

Sat 5 – Sidcot Arts Centre at Tyntesfield | 10am – 4pm | Free | Sidcot Arts Centre team up with North Somerset Arts to take their place at the “Made in North Somerset” Festival’s Art, Craft and Food market.  Proud to support local arts, designer makers and producers. Come and say hello!

Sat 12 – Adult Drop-in Art Group | 10.30am-12.30pm | £10 per adult | Takes place every second Saturday of the month.  Explores a different medium and/or subject each month.  This month will cover an introduction to creative Collage& mixed media with the opportunity to carry on learning at the afternoon’s Collage Workshop given by the same Tutor.  Suitable for all levels of ability.  Fee includes light refreshments and all materials.  No advanced booking necessary on morning session only.

Sat 12 – Collage & Mixed Media Workshop Day | 1.30pm-3.30pm |£25.00 (for the day) | Combining painting, drawing with collage techniques. Includes basic history as well as demos & techniques. Materials & light refreshments included.  Suitable for all abilities. Advanced booking necessary.  Bring some lunch.

Sat 12 – Tapestry Workshop | 10.00am-12.30pm or 1.30pm- 4pm| £55 per adult | One day workshop inspired by the Quaker Tapestry.  Learn new skills as you become absorbed and fascinated by the ancient art of narrative embroidery.  Fee includes all materials.  Advanced booking necessary.

Sat 12 – Lampshade Making | 10am-1pm | £45| Make your own beautiful Lampshade in this fun workshop, led by an experienced Tutor from Quincy Lampshades.  Fee includes materials but you will be required to bring some fabric of your own design choice.

Bring your camera, walking/outdoor wear and a packed lunch! All welcome.  Fee includes materials and light refreshments.  Advanced booking necessary.

Sat 26  – Sidcot Galleries: Meet the Artists Day with ID Artists | 10.30am-4.pm | Free | Chat to the Artists about their work processes and inspiration. No booking necessary.

Wed 30 – Sidcot Galleries - Guided Tour : ID Artists | 11am or 2pm | Join ID Artist, Stephanie Wooster at 11 am or Liz Hewitt at 2pm for a guided tour of the exhibition.  A great opportunity to find out a bit more about each Artist, their works, their inspirations and processes.

 

November:
